which reminds me, the practice along the Alaskan shores of the Bering
Sea was to completely sew up the skin of the kayak up to the front of
the cockpit before sliding it on the kayak. It was only the back
half of the skin that needed to be sewn up on the boat. Seems that
your folder designs do something similar.
