The process is similar to that which you mention. Some builders
opt for an aft deck zipper and slide the frame into the forward skin.
Others use a forward zipper and slide the frame into the aft skin.
A few builders have used both fore and aft zippers which makes
assembly easier. I now prefer either a forward zipper or both fore
and aft.
Below are examples of various zipper setups in the manual.
