A Fucia kayak would be fun, and it may indeed work out fine. It just seems
to me that going to all that trouble only to save perhaps $5 in fabric cost
at the risk of having the sealent peel off prematurly does not seem worth it
to me. OTOH, if time is an issue, you could always keep recoating it if it
does peel (though it will become less attrative at each recoating).
