Sailing... I am sailing... I just don't tell that there is always something to watch, something to adjust, something to shift and just nothing like that Rod Stewart song! Sailing a baidarka definitively was a mixed sort of fun; I did not do that in rough water. The sail has 40 square feet; much for such a narrow boat. I made a large cockpit; so exiting the tipped boat, wrapped up within a sail seemed a bit easier. The only real problem is if I would drop the sail then I also would lose my home because the sail doubles as a tent... In spite of its shortness the boat could carry all my stuff without the need to lash important things on deck.
