For the new design, I'm using 3/4in X .035 walls. It's both lighter and more flexible. 84 feet of this tubing weighs only 8 lbs.

Attached are top, side, and front views of BIF-16 (the name I gave the new design) to give you some idea of their proportions.

I indent the sections 1/4" for the tubing. Computers sure make it easier than when I had to do all the fairing by hand.
