This is the trip that really got me started into the boatbuilding business, and this image is the start of it all. In the background the Olympic mountains; we are waiting for the Seattle Ferry, and there is a Kayak on a car top. Later in the trip it became more and more obvious to me that kayaking is the best way to see the Pacific Northwest.
