I had no access to the boat's front because of the steering footbrace, and none to the back because of the hand pump that was fixed within the structure. With the zipper, that was no problem. The frame was completed and then sunk into the skin; two long air sponsons were set between skin and gunwales; the zipper is closed and the sponsons inflated to put some tension onto the skin.
