I've experimented with electric soldering guns, propane soldering guns, and for this boat, a Butane ''Micro Torch'' to cut ''sear'' the polyester. It's the fastest cutting tool I've found yet. Works great at 1700C/3100F degrees. Probably saved me a couple of hours.
